Hi, I’m Colin. I just recently wrote my first children’s book called Rory, The Lion at the Zoo. 

 

The story is inspired from my life and how I have so often felt STUCK like a lion in a zoo. After experiencing the loss of my dad and brother in a plane crash back in January of 2009, it has brought with it many emotional challenges that have really hindered me from thriving. From fear and anxiety to hopelessness and depression. The battles are real and I know I am not alone!

 

One thing that brings me a lot of purpose is sharing my story. Writing is a way that I am able to do that. It is also something that I believe I am called to do. Despite what I have been through, Jesus has done great things in my life and I want the world to know how awesome He is. I want to make an impact and leave a legacy of faith for this generation and the ones to come!
